At the 2016 IPL, Adam participated in just one game because of the hamstring wound, he was excluded from the competition. Over the next term he entered the squad and played with them in five tournaments Mumbai Indians then selected him at the auction for IPL 2019, however, because of the injuries still, he wasn’t part of the team. Yet again towards the auction, Mumbai Indians have picked up Adam Milne, but this time at an increase of Rs. 3.2 in IPL 2021.
