The famous cricketer Anukul Roy, who is playing from Bihar, was born on 30 November 1998. He wasn’t able to participate in the Ranji Trophy as they didn’t contest the tournament for the last 18 years. However, he saw his friend Ishan Kishan moved to Jharkhand city to pursue his dream of playing in the Ranji trophy, and he kind of liked it.
Career:
He had represented, Jharkhand under 19’s before he could make it into the Indian Team, after catching the eyes on himself by Rahul Dravid. He made his very own debut for the under 19 team on 1’st of February 2017 during England’s tour to India.
He bowled around 7 overs, at the cost of 34 runs and gained 3 wickets in that process. He followed that with another 3 wickets hail as and India went on to win the 5’th match series by the margin of 3-1.
Anukul made it into the under 19 team at the very last moment and an ankle injury forced him to miss the under-19 Challenger Trophy and under-19 Asia cup in 2017.
A five-wicket haul followed by a four in the ICC under-19, world cup helped Anukul Roy shoot to the limelight. He was the joint-leading wicket-taker in the under 19 world cup. Only 20 years old Anukul Roy has played List A and Ranji trophy for the Jharkhand. He has 30 first-class wickets in his account. He played 10 of T-20 games and IPL will be a very big platform for the youngster to show his skills. And of course, with the great left-arm spinner that is krunal, he had first because he was a senior spinner but somehow, got his chance in the IPL, and he was picked up for his debut in 2019 and he took one wicket from one game he played.
Unfortunately, he didn’t get a game in the 13’th edition of the tournament, he importantly made it count as a substitute fielder, picking up a crucial catch at very important points for the time for Mumbai Indians, he is a star player.

Anukul Roy was born on November 30, 1998. In the samastipur district of Bihar. He started playing cricket in the year 2005. In the early stages, he played under the guidance of Brajesh Kumar Jha at Samastipur cricket club. Soon, he started playing district leagues which eventually lead him to enter the district cricket team.
Later on, he got selected for the vinoo mankad trophy in the year 2008. The following year, he played for the Bihar under – 14 ‘s and soon he started playing for the under-16’s team.

He is an all-rounder, his batting style is left-hand batsman, his bowling style is slow left-arm orthodox. He has majorly played for team India, India under-19, Bihar, Jharkhand, Indian Colts under-19, and Mumbai Indians.
Cricket career :
He played for the Jharkhand, under-16 team, and then for the under-19 state team, also he was the captain in the under-19 team. Then later he got selected for the India green team as a captain. He kept performing for the respective teams and earned his place in the India under-19 team in 2017.
On February 1, 2017, he made his debut for the India under-19 against England. He scored 20 runs into Match before he got out by Tom Banton. He also picked up some of the wickets. Then on January 14, 2018, he played his first under-19 world cup match, against Australia under-19 in which he just scored 6 runs, but took wickets.
Later on, I’m his very second match, he took 5 wickets against PNG and became the man of the match. And also he took 4 wickets against Zimbabwe under-19.
Then in the final, against Australia, he took 2 very important wickets and that lead to India win the title for the fourth time.
On 8 February 2018, Anukul started his List- a cricket career for Jharkhand by playing against the services cricket team in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He took two wickets in the match and scored 16 runs at a strike of 100.
And the same year, in November, he made his first-class debut against Assam in the Ranji trophy. He scored 80 runs in the first innings and he remained not out at the score if 4 runs in the second innings. He also picked up 3 wickets in the match.
