Delhi Capital franchise has been rebranded from Delhi Daredevils, and this is a jointly owned franchise by JSW and GMR group of India. This franchise has contributed from the IPL first season from 2008, but the sad thing is this franchise never won the IPL title till now. Unfortunately, they even never qualify for the IPL final, which is disappointing for the franchise fans. Before, big players like Virender Sehwag and Amit Mishra were part of this franchise.
The 14th season of the IPL Delhi Capital squad looks very strong as they bring many new players to their team. You will find many classy batsmen like Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw in this team. Steve Smith can put a huge impact on this team and can strengthen the middle order of the DC franchise. You will also see many classy allrounders like Axar Patel, Marcus Stonis Lalit Yadav, and Tom Curran who recently performed well in international and domestic crickets.
They went with 12 retentions for this season and added eight new players to get a good balance of team players. We hope this team will perform great this time, and fans are waiting to see DC in the final.
Delhi capitals have many young talents and in the 13th season of IPL, they selected Shreyas Iyer as the captain, and previous year DC performed well under Iyer’s captain and batting coach Ricky Ponting. Hope this franchise will entertain all of us in the 14th IPL season also with their excellent cricketing performance.
We will give the details squad list below; just check and share it with your friends and family members.
