2.Paul Valthaty-19 fours vs. CSK, 2011

Paul Valthaty has scored 19 fours against CSK in 2011, which is still a record of most fours in an IPL inning. In that match, Valthaty and Murli Vijay played exceptionally and won the match for Kings XI Punjab. Before this match, Valthaty was played just one match in IPL, but he thrashed every bowler in that match all over the ground, but unfortunately, they lost that match because of the middle-order collapse.

3.Michael Lumb-16 fours vs. KXIP (currently Punjab Kings), 2010

The next player on our list is none other than Michael Lumb. In 2010 Lumb scored 16 fours against KXIP and surprised everyone with his amazing batting ability. In that game, Lumb was opened with Naman Ojha and gave Rajasthan Royals a super victory. He always loves to play within his strength, and that day, he thrashed every bowler all around the ground with some classy shorts. He scored quick 83 runs and gave Royals one amazing victory with five overs remaining and nine wickets in hand.

4.Ajinkya Rahane-16 fours vs. KXIP (currently Punjab Kings, 2012

Indian right-hand batsman Ajinkya Rahane is the next on our list. Rahane managed to hit 16 fours against Kings XI Punjab in 2012, the record of most fours in an IPL inning. That match was opened by Rahul Dravid and Rahane for Rajasthan Royals. Both of them have started amazingly and played many unorthodox shorts. Rahane played many amazing shorts and scored a risk-free 98 on 66 balls. He targeted bowlers in the powerplay and played many boundaries, and lofted sixes.

5.Glenn Maxwell-15 fours vs. CSK, 2014  

Glenn Maxwell is known for his superb striking ability among cricket lovers. He also has the record of most fours in an IPL inning. Glenn played an extraordinary inning against CSK in 2014. He managed to hit 15 fours in his innings and picked gaps effortlessly. That day Glenn focused on hitting more boundaries rather than lofting sixes. He played sweep shorts, cover-drive, and drive against the spinner and fast bowlers and scored huge 95 runs with just 43 balls and chase the huge target of 206 against CSK.
