2011 IPL season

2011 IPL season is always a memorable win for the CSK team and fans. This was the second IPL title for CSK and was the consecutive IPL title win for captain MS Dhoni. CSK beat strong Royal Challengers Bangalore in the qualifier and placed the second position at the points table.

2018 IPL season      

After winning the 2011 title, CSK performed well but did not achieve the title for a very long time; then, this franchise also got ban for the spot-fixing allegation. But again, CSK made a strong comeback under the leadership of MS. Dhoni in 2018 after the ban lifted from the franchise.

They played exceptionally well in the 2018 IPL season and won the title. That Final match was one-sided for Chennai Super Kings as Shane Watson played a remarkable 117 runs innings while chasing 179 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
