Karna Vinod Sharma is an Indian cricketer who lives in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh and plays for railways cricket team but had already debuted for Indian cricket team. He was born on 23 October, 1987 which simply denotes that he is now 33 years old. He is an all rounder who spins the ball perfectly and can hit some range lofted shots. The player is basically a leg break bowler who gets so much wickets by LBW. He is an interesting player always specially in IPL to watch for. 

EARLY LIFE

When it comes to the early life of this player then, Karn Sharma is indeed a brilliant cricketer who can bat and bowl too. As we all know there were only Bhuvaneshvar and Pravin Kumar who had debuted for team India from the states of Uttar Pradesh , so Karn Sharma became the third person from Uttar Pradesh to hit the headlines in the newspaper. The player find it difficult in the early ages to go to ground and play cricket with his friends. In Uttar Pradesh, most of the grounds were of marriage or of any other local functions, he faced lot of problems for searching cricket grounds. 

The leg spinner always had the special mastery in his fingers and luck has been at his side too. He is the only player in the IPL with three different teams who has won the IPL cup, after him all the Mumbai Indians player became the other players with most IPL cup. The player had played for franchise like Mumbai Indians, Chennai super kings and for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was first time auctioned in 2014 IPL season and was purchased by Hyderabad. 

The player has been around in the domestic cricket since 2007 representing railways, but it was the season of 2012-13 which he turned off. Karn Sharma won the BCCI award for the best under 25 cricketer to take 21 wickets in three Ranji matches that season for playing for railways. He has contributed a lot for the team he plays for. The player has been every time name for selection when it comes to selection of Indian cricket team. 

CAREER

Karn Sharma made his first class career debut in 2007/8 Ranji season at karnail Singh stadium against Jammu and Kashmir. He played as a specialist batsman in that match. Karn scored 120 runs of 232 balls with 17 boundaries which helped the railways team to won the match by innings and 88 runs. 

In July, 2018 the player was named in the squad for India green for the 2018-19 Duleep trophy. He was the leading wicket taker for Andhra in 2018-19 Vijay Hazare trophy with 12 wickets in eight matches. This simplifies that he is a brilliant all rounder and has shown everyone that he is capable of both batting and bowling when opportunities are being offered to him. 

When it comes to international career of the player, then he has not impressed every one at international stage because of the reason, he more likely to play domestic cricket and League like IPL more than international cricket. Karn Sharma debuted for Indian cricket team in the format of T20 on September 2014 against England.  He made his one day international debut on 13 November 2014 against Sri Lanka. But sad, that he had a terrible outing with the ball on debut and he didn’t get a chance to bat for the team too which all says that he didn’t had a perfect international cricket match according to his wish for sure. 

The player has been playing IPL so beautifully every season! He featured for Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2009. He was then signed up by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2013. The young Karn responded maturely at that time. His performance against Punjab was so brilliant, he showed everyone that he is capable of doing a lot of things. He was the highest paid uncapped Indian player in IPL 2014 as was purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad at a price of 3.7 crore. The player was retained by the team in 2015 and 16 too and then helped the team to got their first IPL cup. 

In 2017 he was purchased by Mumbai Indians for 3.2 crores  and he won the cup for their team too. He bowled a beautiful spell of four overs just by conceding 18 runs. In 2018, the player was signed by Chennai at a price of 5 crore and again three in a row he won that cup. He is the only player to play for three franchises and to win all the three IPL cup that too consecutively.

 He is as fit as a Sportsperson. He is five feet and eight inches tall and weighs about 68 kg. The player literally has every special skills to ball by which batsman faces difficulty to face him. He has black eyes and black hair colour.

The player earns from domestic cricket, Indian premier League x railways and from various local leagues. His estimate net worth is said to be Rs 40 crore every year. The player is always the most highest sold when it comes to the uncapped Indian player or a spinner in Indian premier League. Most of the monry by him is earned from IPL.
