EARLY LIFE
When it comes to the early life of Ngidi, he has done everything what a good cricketer Or a sportsman should do. He was a brilliant child in school too. Ngidi was raised in a place in kloof which is located in Durban. The player received a scholarship to attend Highbury preparatory school. While growing up, his mother was a domestic worker and his father was a Maintenance worker at a local school which was located in Durban.
The brilliant student Or player received a scholarship to attend Hilton college school. During his first three years at Hilton, Ngidi represented the school at rugby before he stopped to focus on his cricket career. In Hilton, then the player was coached by the Zimbabwe all rounder Neil Johnson which helped him to change his life and career by playing some hard destructive cricket. After passing out from Hilton, the player enrolled in a bachelor of social sciences degree, which completely tells us that he was a hhard working student and an excellent sportsperson too.

He deeply defined the meaning of the movement opposing the movement and forcing his team mates to support him in the movement too.

CAREER
Lungi Ngidi was also included in the northern cricket team squad for the 2015 Africa T 20 cup. In July, 2016 cricket South Africa named him as the Africa T20 cup player of the year. In August 2017, he was named in first T20 global season. But the tournament was cancelled by cricket South Africa fuel to some unwanted happing.
In October 2018, he was named in Spartan squad for the first edition of Mzansi super league T20 tournament. In Marc 2019, he was named as one of the eight players to watch by international cricket council ahead of 2019 Indian premier League.
In January 2017, Ngidi was included in South Africa’s T20 international squad for the series against Sri Lanka. The player made his T20 debut for South Africa against Sri Lanka on 20 January, 2017. In the same match or can say in his debut match only, Ngidi was awarded as a man of the match. After seeing his brilliant performance in T20 cricket, the player was also included in South Africa’s one day international squad against Sri Lanka. But he was ruled out of the series due to his abdominal injury.
In Jan 2018, the player was further added to South African team in test format too. He made his test debut for South Africa against India on 13 Jan. He balled beautifully in that match with a figure of 6 wickets and giving 39 runs. He was awarded man of the match for his great performance in the test cricket and also after that he was included in the ODI team against India too.
In 2018, Ngidi was purchased by Dhoni’s Chennai super kings at a price of only Rs 50 lakh. In March 2018, the player was awarded an official contract by South African cricket team. The player was retained by Chennai super kings in 2019,20 and for 21 too. Lungi took his first five wickets haul in ODI cricket against Australia. In the same match, the player became the fastest South African bowler to take 50 wickets in ODI. The player’s international and domestic cricket had gone amazingly.
