Marcus peter Stoinis is an extremely talented Australian cricketer who plays for Australia cricket team in limited overs format only. He was born on 16 august, 1989 which simply denotes that he is now 31 years of age. The player has achieved various awards and achievements at this age. The player has both the abilities to bat and bowl which makes him the perfect and suitable all rounder for Australia cricket team. He is contracted to Western Australia and Melbourne stars in domestic cricket and has previously played for Perth Scotchers too. He is a brilliant right hand batsman and a right arm medium bowler to who has all the capability to ball some good slow balls and bouncers. 


When it comes to the Early life of this extra talented person, then Marcus Peter Stoinis is an Australian guy  of Greek heritage. He was born in Perth and played for western Australia at both under-17 and 19. Stoinis also played for under-19 cricket Australia team at 2008 World Cup. In that year the player represented Australia at honk Kong sixes. Whenever the names of all rounder comes, Stoinis is always tops the list. 

Stoinis debuted for western Australia at the age of 19, but only got some little or limited opportunities with the warriors and moved to further his career. The Victorian selectors gave him a chance because of his some runs for their team. Marcus Stoinis was Victoria leading run scorer in 2014-15 season and was then called into Australia’s limited overs squad. 


No doubt, that he is a type of player who can hard hit some shots out of boundary which means that he is a destructive batsman who can bat at any number and also a type of bowler who have excellent slow balls to out the Opponent batsman. He was not able to secure a perfect place in Australia cricket team after his debut but again and again he tried his best in domestic cricket for his position. 

With time, Stoinis became mature as a batsman and has bowling was speedy and special as always. He also opened the batting for Melbourne stars in 2018-19 season but picked up the form late. He was one of the finest all rounder in World Cup 2019 for Australia cricket team. 


Stoinis is a hard working guy, who fought for his position in Australia cricket team. He always wishes to serve his national team. After playing several future league for the state  Stoinis made his list A debut for western Australia in 2008-9 in Ford Ranger Cup. Both his one day international debut and Sheffield shield debut came against Queensland at Gabba

In Australia, the player has played for cricket Club in the western Australia grade cricket. He also spent part of 2012 English season playing for Peterborough town cricket Club. In December,2012 Stoinis was selected in the pert Scotchers squad for 2012-13 BBL season, replacing the injured Mitchell Marsh. In 2013, he began representing Victoria domestically before returning to western Australia for 2017-18 season. 

Marcus Stoinis was signed by Delhi Daredevils ahead of 2015 edition of Indian premier League. In 2021, the player played for Delhi capitals in Indian premier League and performed beautiful throughout the tournament. 

Marcus Stoinis made his Time 20 debut against England on 31 August 2015. His one day international debut came against England only on September 11,2015. On 30 January, 2015 he played his second ODI against New Zealand in which Stoinis took three wickets and scored a brilliant knock of 146 not out. This was also the highest ODI score by an Australian batsman at number 7. In March 2017, the player was added in test squad for third and fourth test again replacing Mitchell Marsh, but he didn’t got a chance to play any match. In 2019, World Cup also, his name was there in playing eleven and he also became an important player to be a part of Australia cricket team . But after four matches the player was disrupted by side leg injury. 

The player has been playing for Delhi capitals since 2019 and was retained in 2020 and then in 2021. He played some crucial knocks for his team and batted so beautifully specially in 2020 which also helped his franchise to get into finals. Stoinis opened the innings for Delhi capitals and he scored a ton with 2 wickets in the match. 


 Marcus Peter Stoinis is a strong tall man who has a broad chest  of 40 inches and biceps of 14 inches. He has black eyes and hair are little bit of dark brown colour. The player is six feet and one inch tall which also helps in his batting as well as for hitting long lofted shots.
