Career
Shahrukh Khan made his List A debut in 2014 in the 2013-14 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He played for Tamil Nadu. He made his First-Class debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy.
In 2016 he was not made a part of the under-19 squad, however, this setback gave rise to a new opportunity and he was pitch-forked in the Tami Nadu Team for the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Very soon, he made his T20 debut where he scored a smashing 20 in just 8 balls. With the introduction of Tamil Nadu Premier League, he was picked up by the Trichy Franchise. However, he wasn’t able to perform very remarkably.
His lack of form made him missing in action for quite a while. However, he did not lose spirit and continued to work. He honed his skills and in 2019 scored 325 runs in TNPL.
He was picked up by the Kings XI Punjab at the IPL2021 auction for a smashing price of Rs.5.25 crore. He will play his first IPL match on April 12, 2021, against Rajasthan Royals.
