The player made his first debut for the Punjab domestic team in the year 2007. The great Siddarth Kaul Nicknamed Siddha was also a part of 2008, Under-19 victory in the world Cup after which he was opted and drafted for Shahrukh khan’s Kolkata knight Riders team in the IPL session of 2018. His father Mr. Tej Kaul was also a great legendary player in domestic cricket that played across all three formats for Jammu and Kashmir in the year 1970.

 Siddarth Kaul started playing cricket sport at the age of 6 under the influence of his father Tej Kaul who played first-class cricket in all three formats. The player made his debut for the team Punjab in the year 2007-2008 by playing his first Ranji season. No doubt he is an extra-talented cricketer. In his debut season also he took five wickets haul and conceded 97 runs only against Odisha which was one of the great achievements.

The player has also established himself for the domestic Punjab team in under-15, under-17 and under-19 too. As mentioned above he was also a part of the u-19 Indian cricket team which was held in Malaysia. Siddarth Kaul played a very precious role in India’s victory in the Under-19 cup as he took 10 wickets at an average of 15 which was so great in his career. Also in the under-19 cup, he was awarded as India’s joint wicket-taker and a leader of India’s pace attack in that tournament. 


After this in the year 2012-13, he was the second-highest wicket-taker in the Ranji season by where he started developing his career. While playing his one of the match with Uttar Pradesh, Siddarth Kaul smashed the opponents with his first time six wickets haul in his domestic career. The player has an excellent first-class cricket record as he has nearly taken 235 wickets in just 63 matches with 15 five wickets hauls. 


Also, the player record is just out of the blue or very great in list A matches. The way he has played the number of domestic cricket matches is the only reason behind his success and that’s why he didn’t take much time to play international cricket as well.

Within the Inaugural season of IPL only, Siddarth Kaul was opted by the king’s team Kolkata knight Riders. But in his first season, he didn’t get an opportunity to play in the team. After this, again in 2013, the player was bought by Delhi Daredevils by which he also gets the chance to debut in the Indian Premier League. In 2013 ( his debut season of IPL) also he didn’t perform very well as he just took six wickets in 11 matches and conceded a lot of runs.

The 2017 year was the breakthrough for him as he performed so impressively and also got a chance to play against Sri Lanka. The player was bought by sunrises Hyderabad in the 2017 year and he gave all his hard work and delivered so perfectly for his team. The player was retained by SRH, in the year 2018 IPL auction. The player was largely devastated and was overshadowed by Bhuvaneshvar Kumar the senior Indian cricketer who is extremely great. The player didn’t perform under such conditions. But in the 2018 IPL season, Siddarth Kaul played one of the best innings or bowled very beautifully which resulted in giving him a tag of death bowling specialist bowler. The way he delivered knuckleballs and sharp Yorkers was something great in last overs which everyone can’t perform. 


The bowler from Punjab became a death specialist and also tried to qualify his team till the semi-finals. The year will be surely a remarkable one for him as he also got a debut chance in Indian cricket. 


The player from Punjab, Siddarth Kaul made his first Indian debut in one-day international cricket for the Indian team on 12 July 2018, where the bowler bowled so many fast Yorkers and conceded 63 runs but went without any wicket. He has only played around three one-day international cricket for team India and his performance is not too good in this format, but a golden opportunity can surely make changes in his performance as well as in his life. 



Siddarth Kaul made his T20 debut against the spice Ireland team on 29 June 2018 year, where the bowler just two overs and took his maiden wicket of James Shannon. He was also picked for the series when Australia came to India; he played one match during the series and got only a single strong wicket. 



 Siddarth Kaul is an extremely talented Indian cricketer who has played his debut match for the Indian cricket team in the year 2018. He is a great bowler, especially in domestic cricket. His performance in first-class cricket is like a pro that nobody can compete him.
