Umesh Yadav is an experienced Indian cricketer who plays for team India at national and international level. The player was born on 25 October 1987 which simply denotes that he is now 33 years of age. Umesh is an excellent fast bowler who can ball at a speed of 150kph Or more. He is a right-arm bowler who can ball Yorkers at death bowling and bouncer at power play. The player has played for vidarbha at domestic level and now plays for India at international level.
EARLY LIFE
When it comes to the personal or early life of Umesh Yadav, then he is the correct example of hard work and success, as he has done literally everything to get place in Indian cricket team today. Before coming in the field of cricket, Umesh Unsuccessfully applied to join army and the police force but wasn’t able to do so. Umesh is a hard working guy who also tried to make his place in college cricket team but was not allowed as he didn’t played for any club in the year 2007. Umesh , 2008 year joined vidarbha club. He first time bowled with a leather ball in a tournament organised by vidarbha cricket association.
The captain of vidarbha Ranji trophy team, Gandhi allowed Umesh to make his place in playing 11 and Umesh played his first T20 district match.
When it comes to early life, the player has been facing a lot of issues most because of his low or another backwards caste. The caste politics would had thrown India’s fast bowler career like this only , if he wasn’t hardworking. Umesh always says in interviews that vidarbha cricket association has helped him a lot to be a brilliant bowler today.
On 3rd November 2008, The player made his first-class debut for vidarbha against Madhya Pradesh in the 2008-9 Ranji trophy. He played in only four matches and took 20 wickets with his best figure of 6 wickets. Because of his excellent performance in domestic cricket, he was also auctioned in IPL and then got a call from Indian cricket team.

CAREER
Umesh Yadav is a lucky bowler which Indian cricket team consists of. He is the type of fast bowler which makes the Indian pace attack complete specially in the format of test cricket. In January 2019, in the first semi final pf 2018-19 Ranji trophy against Kerala, he gave his career best performance at district level by taking seven crucial wickets and conceding only forty-seven runs in the first inning and then taking five wickets again in the second innings. The player has done extremely well at domestic cricket as well as international cricket, but due to his injury and due to some poor performance in one day international, he was not able to make his position in team since 2019 in one day international format for Indian cricket team.
Umesh Yadav was selected as one of India’s pace bowler for their tour of Australia in 2011-12. He played all the four test in which he took 14 wickets but India lost that series. In the third test he took his first five wicket haul at international level and that too against Australia. In the second test of West Indies tournament of India in 2018, he took his second five wickets haul and made his best career by taking 10 wickets in both innings and conceding only 133 runs. Umesh was also awarded as the man of the match award in that match.
In 2010, Indian premier League auction, he was bought by Delhi Daredevils after some good domestic cricket. He played for the team till 2013. Umesh Yadav was then purchased by Kolkata knight riders ahead of 2014 IPL season at a price of 2.6 Crore and played for the team for three years. In 2018 IPL auction, Umesh Yadav was purchased by Royal challengers Bangalore at a price of 4.3 crore and he had an excellent season as he took 20 wickets, most in one IPL season. The player was then removed from Royal challengers Bangalore, and was purchased by Delhi capitals again in 2021 , but didn’t got a chance to play this year till now.
